Component Report Update: Vibrating motors & DRV2605L arrived

My various motors and actuators have arrived!

I have been testing out each motor with the driver options. There are so many vibration rhythm options to play around with!

The next thing I will do is to mount these motors into casted silicone, as a way to house the motors. This is specific to my thesis exploration, as I am trying to make a tactile sensual toy. I now realize that there is a type of motor I forgot to order, which is an encapsulated ERM vibration motor. In order to house my motor in silicone, it will have to be enclosed, so the exposed DC motors with weights on them won’t work for this kind of mounting.
